Thinking of giving my room a new look! hee~ was in and outta IKEA like almost everyday!.. bought quite a few boxes to pack my junk..

This is called a "Kissing Chair".. Ben said that couples sit on this chair.. so that they are in a "better" position to kiss..
so inovative! but buy already put where? haha.. unless i have a balcony.. then again.. why would anyone go to balcony and kiss? kissing can be done anywhere lah..
set my eye on this bed.. from the first day i shifted.. but it's too costly to even consider... i chose my bunk bed instead.. now.. i think i will seriously buy this..
because.. it can be transformed into a double bed! and there's drawers to store my junk! how convenient can this be! i am going to buy this.. after chinese new year..when i've collected my red packets..

went on to Kids' section to get my boxes.. and veron's so fascinated by the kiddy furnitures.. she loves them.. haha.. and i'm about to kiss my frog prince when..veron scolded me stupid.. argh..
i'm gonna paint my room pink! i think the work will begin this sunday.. will leave a corner for friends to draw their pictures.. veron can draw a 'bao'.. ben can probably draw a plant..hee~

Was chatting with S today..and she was like "WTH" for so many times..haha~

We have a common friend, and her birthday falls on 21st Jan. We used to be SOoooOooOOo CLOSE.. we see each other almost everyday.. and we've been friends since like.. 14years ago.. but somehow, i haven't seen this friend for about.. perhaps.. 5 - 6 years? i still make it a point to msg her every year, on her birthday.. and also call her occassionally like once/twice a year to see how she's doing.. it's really interesting.. the intervals of my calls is so long! Eg, 1st time i call her, she's very busy with church activities.. 2nd time i call her, she's in NUS... 3rd time i call her, she's almost graduating... 4th time i called her, she's slacking at home watching VCDs, 5th time i called her, she's teaching tuition and job hopping (i think), 6th time i called her, she's in citibank.. all these years, i haven't recieved a single call/msg from her.. i doubt she even know what i'm doing..of course, i msged her birthday wishes this year as well.. interestingly, following the birthday wishes, was another msg.. the msg I wanted to send Iris was accidently sent to her instead... the msg was about her not replying my msgs at all.. still, after reading the 'wrong' msg, i don't get any reply from her.. It was til today, that S told me, this common friend of ours, did not reply her too! but the difference is, S and this common friend see each other every week! is she boxim or is she boxim.. anyway, i've done what i can..

Am I being too nice? some parents are obviously taking advantage of my kindness.. friends too.. i know we're not supposed to ask for returns when giving... but it doesn't feel good when it doesn't get recipocrated.. sometimes when you give too much love, you would need to be loved too..

I think Friends Forever is bullshit. Once I leave Singapore, probably i will not have Singaporean friends anymore.. duh.. just like how I left FC, and it seems that friends from FC aren't my friends anymore.. ha~

There's about 11 more days to Chinese New Year, and my room is still in a mess..means, i have 11 more days to pack..
this is the picture of my junk last week.. after some packing.. the mess became a "neater" pile of mess.. er.. contradicting leh.. haha...
T.a.d.a.! a NEATER pile of MESS! at least, i have more space to walk! it'll take me another week to clear them.. *sobz* (my luggage is still unpacked!)

Veron stayed over on Friday night to watch her TV programme..thereafter, she helped to 'Spring Clean' my Doll House.. after all, she was the one who created the "typhoon" to my Sylvanian house.. now she must rectify the problem! and after about 1 hour of 'cleaning'...
So Neat! Neater than my room loh! I was thinking...maybe she should help me pack my room too..since she has the patience to pack my doll house..hee~ the bedroom and cosy corner is so neat!
the dining area, kitchen, bathroom, study room... all so neat! and there's so much food on the dining table! i think because Veron dunno where to keep them.. that's why she dump everything there..haha~
the roof-top garden and the living area.. and..the front door is open.. it leads to the garden.. can see? hee~ i think Veron hasn't done her own spring cleaning yet.. as in.. her REAL bedroom..haha.. maybe i should show her mom these photos.. that she pack the doll house, and not her own room! keke~
Garden! and the laundry area.. well, i'm thinking..since the doll house is so neat now, it's time to add more stuff to it.. i'm gonna buy a vege plantation next for them to grow their own vege and carrots! probably get it before New Year.. then for Valentine's Day, I'll get them a boat for them to go fishing..haha!

I've yet to unpack my luggage! but of course, dirty clothes all cleared.. i have spring cleaning to do..as Chinese New Year is approaching! oh man..it's time to hit IKEA to get some boxes to store all my "accumulation of crap since the beginning of time" -(By Iris)

At times, i just stare blankly at this pile of crap.. not knowing how and where to start packing them.. i have 1 more week to pack.. as Benjamin & Eileen are back in Singapore! and.. i'm intending to let them visit my nest.. maybe i can hold a "room-warming"! hee~
went to pick Ben and Eileen up yesterday at Changi Airport(where else).. wrote their names on IKEA frame (Meant for QC's pressie).. almost everyone that came outta the arrival hall looked at me.. or rather, looking at the "board" for their names..haha~

Spend about 1 to 2 hours at the airport(Delifrance), talking to Ben & Eileen.. they're been away for 1 year! thereafter, fetched them home.. and hit my bed at 3am..

Met QC earlier to source around for Sicko Watch.. it was quite a fruitful hunt., at least he's more or less decided on which watch he's gonna get! While waiting for Veron to walk over from Suntec, went shopping.. and i saw this ring! i really like it alot! Can anyone get it for me for Valentines? please?! i found this at Dorothy Perkins(Marina Square).. it's quite cheap leh..well, we proceed to Ai Qin Hai when everyone arrived..

I brought my 7.2 Mega-Pixels camera...but guess what... LOW BATT! argh.. have to use my Sony Ericsson 3.2 Mega-Pixels.. sigh.. that's why it's so blurred... never mind..hear the voice.. so charming..

This one's not bad too.. but can hear abit of 'off-tune'..can anyone spot it? hee~ nevertheless, he's voice is overall rather soothing and warm..and nice...~

Had celebration at Jazz Blues..somewhere along Ophir Road.. took me quite awhile to locate the place! thank goodness QC spoted my car and hopped on..proceed to park at Raffles Hospital... by the time we got there, the folk's already mid-way thru their food :( I ordered Salmon! it's very very nice.. not very expensive... rather filling! ordered fresh Apple Juice! it's gonna be my signature drink of the year!
QC's 24 this year.. he's the first one in our group to celebrate birthday.. January baby.. and also the first to turn 24 in the '1984' group..

Had 2 lessons in the morning.. and 1 lesson in the afternoon..it's friday..and i've decided that i should not work so hard when approaching the weekends..

Went Kallang to renew my SI.. only to find out that.. i don't have cash with me! neither do i have cheque with me..they don't accept nets.. argh! wasted my trip down.. Tmr i'm gonna teach swimming.. i shall just explain to them that i just came back from holiday, and that they'll give me one weeks' grace..

Went to meet Alvin for lunch at about 1230pm..as usual, without fail.. i enjoyed our chit chatting session fully..supposed to eat at PS, but his craving for Indian Food suddenly arises.. headed for Roti Prata & Mee Goreng at Middle Road.. then..went G2000 to buy clothes with him.. he's starting work on 12th Feb! SO excited for him! Parted at about 3plus..

Met up with QC..He came over my place at about 5pm.. hang around at my house til 6plus.. then we went to meet Weijin.. It's been a long time since we had dinner together.. our usual "friday" gathering..just that, we did not DOTA today! hee~ Has dinner at New York New York.. While queueing, I was already eyeing on that candy floss.. it's usually for kids i think.. but i really wanted it! i think my whining has proved it's use.. QC got one for me! YipeEeEe~
QC's complaning about eating 'WHOLE' chicken! he felt guilty that the WHOLE chicken sits nicely on his plate,waiting to be eaten... haha.. he claimed that it would be better if they served it in halves.. keke.. no difference lah..

First word that came outta my mouth when i reached Singapore..and till now, i've been complaining about the weather.. Even when i on my aircon to 19 degrees, it feels like a breeze..
Yes yes..i'm eating sushi.. wanted to eat some local food, but dunno why..ended eating sushi at AMK Kbox building..

but i still cannot withstand my craving for laksa! Immediately the next day, I jio Ernest out for lunch. Picked him up at his work place, and drove to Yishun Blk 925(i think) for their ever famous laksa! Ernest was saying should bring Toru to try laksa when he comes to Singapore. Don't think he've tried it yet!

This pic was taken last year.. have no time to blog then.. it was our DOTA session Veron's place.. i think we DOTA-ed for about 10 hours altogther.. from 10pm to 5am, then 1pm to 5pm.. i wonder how we survived! and i can't believe we're all so "on" to bring our lappies along..

Toru didn't work today either..it's a public holiday.. woke up at 10am.. packed our bags til about 1130am.. finally, it's time to go home.. sobz.. Toru called a cab for us.. and our luggage filled up the whole boot and the passenger seat too! Reached Kichijoji Station.. Ernest and Toru went to buy the limousine bus ticket to Narita Airport while I looked after 9 luggage.. haha...

left Kichijoji at about 1230pm and reached Narita airport at about 230pm.. Bernard's already there.. He went to sent Lynn off for the 1130am flight.. Lynn's flying on SQ, while the rest of us coincidentally..all on the same flight on UA.. Checked in all our luggage, to find that Ernest and my luggage are all 'over-weight'! we gotta pay about 3000 yen per KG if not for Moreen's help... *phew* she managed to help us check in our luggage.. we're like 18KG over the weight limit.. could have bought another air ticket if we actually paid for it!

Reached Changi at 12midnight.. surprised to find QC and Veron at the arrival hall! my HP was off..and i didn't get their msgs at all..besides, QC couldn't get car but they still came down! so touched! i miss the 2 guys like anything! so glad they came!

once i stepped foot outta the airport, down came my first drop of perspiration..so hot! i miss the cold cold winter of Japan! took a cab back home..thanks to Veron and QC, if not for them..i don't think i can carry all my luggage back to my house.. hee~ it was already 130am while i unpacked my stuff.. i distributed the souveniers to them...just some small stuff here and there..hope they like it though :) then..we met up with Ernest for supper at Thomson.. we had prata! really craved for local food man! finally.. i let QC drive my car back.. and i touched my pillow at 430am..

Changed my appointment to 11am instead.. couldn't wake up *sobz* Lynn came to meet me again at Kichijoji..of course..she went on to do her shopping while i dyed my hair.. Ernest went to meet her for breakfast...and i finished my hair at about 1pm.. All of us then, met at Tokyo station at 230pm, to go to DisneySea together!
Didn't take much photos as it's really very very cold.. and I've been to DisneySea before... so, shall give photo-taking a miss..

besides, my camera's at Toru's place! I've reminded both the guys to bring it out for me as i was charging the battery earlier on in the morning.. but BOTH the guys forgot! argh..

came at 3pm.. thinking we can get the halfday pass...it's cheaper of course.. but half-day pass is only for DisneyLand.. so sad.. we gotta pay the full price.. should have came earlier...

the most memorable ride was Tower or Terror.. the wait at the queue was a freaking 1.5hours i think! and it's icey cold! but the ride was very thrilling and i think it left a deep impression in all of us! Indeed mark the finale of our last night in Japan :(

went back to pack.. and slept early.. gotta wake up early to pack again.. too many stuff!

Our plan is to go DisneySea today.. Toru's not working.. but he didn't wanna join us because he said the weather forecast said it would be 'rainy'.. so he'll give it a miss.. so Ernest & I went ahead to meet the rest first and then decide again on the plan..
it's indeed raining.. early in the morning when i opened the door, Toru shoved an umbrella to me.. i told him i dun like to carry umbrella around, but he insisted.. so i brought...and i'm glad i brought! Ernest left home earlier to Shibuya to withdraw money and i think he got caught in the rain *brRrrRr* Look at how strong the wind is! I'm laughing at Lynn's distorted umbrella!

the wind's really very strong.. and so cold! we're at Odaiba by the way..

decided to fill our stomach first before going out into the cold again.. well, we must keep our stomach warm at least! Queueing up to go into the restaurant...

it was a long wait.. for our food.. a really long wait.. so bored... till i played with the syrups...

and i tell you, it's definately worth the wait! it's the nicest baked cheese rice with egg and bbq chicken I've ever eaten! i gobbled it all up.. it's really very very nice.. really the nicest i've ever tasted!

the ever famous Odaiba 'rainbow bridge'! dunno why it's called rainbow bridge.. i guess from a certain angle on fair weather days... you can see rainbow.. but definately not today.. the bridge is 570m long! we can actually walk on it! 9am to 9pm in summer and 10am to 6pm in winter.. but it's too cold..then dun wanna walk! there are 2 walkways..one on each side.. views of Mount Fuji and Tokyo Tower can be seen on each side of the bridge..

and Statue of Liberty.. no fire leh.. Bernard kept saying Liberty's tired as she's standing on only one leg... hee~ anyway, we decided to give DisneySea a miss..it's really too chilly for anything! The guys went to Akihabara again while Lynn and I went to Kichijoji.. i wanna get my haircut, while Lynn does her shopping..

My Hairdresser Hata-san.. he's 29 this year.. and he worked in London for 4 years, Germany for 1 year..and travelled many European countries.. he's the only English speaking hairdresser there.. i said my hair's always very straight and wanted a change.. and he curled my hair! i almost freaked out when i saw myself in the mirror and i refuse to meet the guys at the pub.. but all of them preferred this hairstyle to my previous one.. hmm..and Toru actually offered to lend me his curler the next day to curl my hair! keke~

Went to Toru's friend's shop.. they sell Yaki-Tori.. it's really very good! of course, there's alcohol to go along with the food..Japanese drink alot! it's freezing cold outside... and the fan's actually a warmer.. Bernard told me to hold his shirt down while he removes his sweater.. but i lift it up instead! wahhaha.. wanna see his belly! weEeEE~

I had one mug of beer.. and i was so thirsty that i drank Bernard's beer too..and i drank a glass of cocktail too.. and ended up drinking Bernard's one too..hee.. very very thirsty after all the yaki-toris..... left the place at about 1130pm.. Lynn and Bernard gotta catch the last train back to hotel...by the way, Moreen didn't join us..she's probably resting in the hotel...

Toru talks alot when he's strolling at Inokashira Park and after he drinks..that night he drank quite abit.. so when he got home, indeed..he talked alot..and he even took his electric guitar out to play..

Toru's playing the electric guitar.. i'm so shocked at how well he played.. he learnt e.guitar all by himself! i asked him how often he practised.. on the days when he's working.. about 2 - 3 hours when he gets home from work..on weekends, he practise 7 - 8 hours! I'm so motivated to get home to practise 7 - 8 hours on my piano and violin.. *er hem* i hope i can do it man!

Made an appointment with Hata-san at 10am tomorrow.. Gonna dye my hair tmr!
