slept at 330am the night before.. and supposed to receive morning call from him at 630am..but the call came only at about 650am! anyway.. i was already awake by 610am.. was kinda excited..can't get to sleep! hee~ his parents drove to my place at about 740am..then we took a cab together from my place to Harbourfront Centre.. everyone's so tired and hungry.. so we had Delifrance breakfast!


i kept thinking that.. i wanna have "Egg Ben".. but dunno why the menu dun have.. it's only TODAY..then i realised.. that Egg-Ben's from Coffee Bean, not Deli.. BiSh~ anyway, while waiting for food.. he took this photo for me..haha.. ZW commented that it looks kinda creepy..

oh! I was very pissed with the guy who settled all the documents for us.. my IC number, passport expiry, etc.. everything's wrong! and he actually told me "It's ok"! freak.. i dun wanna be stuck in Batam loh. Finally, he changed it for me.. and it's still wrong! My IC number is wrong.. how can i freaking accept it? and he refused to change it for me.. really very pissed loh. I have a good mind NOT to go Batan already.. but J was nice enough to change it for me lah.. *smile*

We waited and queued like mad loh.. we reached Harbourfront at about 8am.. and got onto the ferry at about 10am.. and set off only at 11am!! argh.. waited onboard for SOOOOOO long.. all the gummy bears melted loh.. sad.. anyway, we got to Batam about 45mins later.. and Batam's behind SG by an hour.. so when we got there, it's still 11am! keke~


We were so blur when we reached.. everyone there's like so pro.. and we're so beginner.. but after a short briefing.. we finally got started.. and i'm glad i didn't fall at the starting point..haha.. fell at point 2.5... there are 5 points altogether.. managed to complete one whole round at the 3rd try.. i tell you ah..one round this lagoon is no joke loh..


gotta hold on very tightly..and your arms will ache like nobody's business.. went for 4 individual rides..and tried double with J..wah liaoz.. tried like 4 to 5 times.. and we can only get past point 2.. finally the last time, i throw myself into the water lah.. then let him continue himself.. coz my arms really no more strength le...



We started at about 1130am.. and stopped at about 2pm.. for lunch! nice.. i had mee goreng and the guys had nasi goreng.. and played pool.. i won! yeah! bleah~ also.. it rained.. took photos while waiting for the rain to stop.. then went back to try "ski" this time.. by then, my arms feel totally detached.. i can no longer feel them.. tried ski 3 times.. and i fell right at the starting point loh! finally decided to stop.. the rest carried on for one more hour.. till their arms detached too..haha.. i think..what i enjoyed most was.. the individual rides.. but 2 of us together.. was so exciting! so much splashes! and ya.. we went one round.. fell at the ending point.. anyway, this picture below gotta be the BEST shot taken.. by ME! haha~

got back to SG about 9pm.. very very tired.. brought my detached arms back.. thankfully.. it's so painful..that i can't even hook my bra! anyway, took a cab back to AMK and his dad came to pick him up..

one word... B L A S T!

watched survivor til 2am the night before(think we slept at about 3am).. of course, how could we wake up in time for breakfast?!?! We took for granted that the breakfast timing will be delayed like the day before..so we went down ..l.a.t.e..and tada.. no more breakfast! hur hur.. so hungry, we decided to order ala carte.. and the food took forever to come.. to kill time, i started to pour water into the glass cups..and Iris kept drinking from it.. and.. so, we decided to form our very own "orchestra"! luckily the restaurant's empty.. after breakfast hour..
i can't believe it.. Mary Had A Little Lamb! we actually did this.. haha.. was so funny loh! we thot we were so darn good.. decided to play another song..

Haha~ hot cross buns! not bad right! getting better at it! Of course..we practise and N.G quite a few times.. here is one of our N.G shots...

Wanted to think of another song with only "Do , Re & Mi".. but can't think of any! and ..our food finally arrived! yipeee~ That plate of reddish stuff belongs to Iris..she told us to take photo of it.. coz she dun like it at all! some thai salad.. it's too tomato-ish.. Eileen's chicky rice and my nasi lemak looks too good for her.. and it's warm.. her food's cold..haha~ she's so sad loh..

Emi-Cabbie's picking us up at about 1130am to go for our Facial at Miracle Spa.. It's very very good.. in fact, I feel.. it's better than the one at our hotel.. next time we'll just SPA and facial at "Miracle Spa"! Before we did our facial, we took some shots of our "wrinkles" and "blackheads"..hoping to compare the "before" and "after" effects of facial haha...quite gross lah.. we only took the "before", didn't take the "after".. we were so tired! guess what, we spent down to the last cent! totally no money! Eileen had to use her card! Headed back to our hotel.. We gotta catch the shuttle bus at 5:45pm back to SG.. We were early! reached the hotel at about 4pm! Actually we wanted to shop, but we have no money..and don't wanna use our cards.. and we did not eat lunch! so sad.. so hungry.. keke.. we managed to squeeze whatever pennies we're left with.. enough to buy 3 ice creams! so happy can! Walked around and took last fews pictures before we say bye bye to Batam..
To my dearest Senior Girlfriends.. I love you! I had laziest and most relaxing trip of my life.. i'm serious.. i've never felt so piggish.. and i LOVE it~ Toast to Operation55!

the state of our room in the morning! hee~ the chambermaids will wonder what happened the night before..

The breakfast buffet starts from 6am to 930am.. so early can! our alarm snoozed from 8am to 9am..and by the time we dashed down to the restaurant, it's about 920am.. but there's still plenty of food! We had a hearty breakfast, coz we're not gonna have lunch later.. it's our SPA day today! yipee!

Finished breakfast at about 1030am..then went back to room to rest..so piggish loh! just woke up, finished breakfast..feel like sleeping again.. well, we lazed around on our beds, watching tv.. then went for our SPA at 1130am.. we all took Princess Treatment.. 3 hours of SPA! er hem.. didn't take photos lah.. highly censored! However, all 3 of us still decided to share a room.. instead of getting individual rooms.. so we can laugh and talk together! keke~

We fnished our SPA at about 3pm.. and EMI-cabbie is picking us up soon! We're going to MEGA Mall for some shopping! reached MEGA mall at about 4plus..and it's indeed quite MEGA..but there's nothing much to shop, except for this "GIANT" look-a-like mart.. gave it a miss.. we went on to look for a hair salon.. wanna do hair treatment.. there isn't a single salon in the mart..went to the streets.. those shophouses, and found one! guess what, $2 per treatment with massage!

We did Mani/Pedi too.. ok.. "when you pay peanuts, you get monkies".. the hair treatment was ok.. the massage was a little too "heavy".. haha~ that guy used too much strength and we were aching all over after that.. medi/pedi is a total failure.. this poor lady took 3 hours to do my feet can! *sigh* actually, they really put in their heart and mind in what they do, but their facilities and resources are really limited.. they ran outta nail polish remover! haha~ i was telling the 2 girls, luckily we never do facial! i wouldn't dare think what would happen to our faces thereafter! *hengz*

Went MEGA mall and have our dinner.. at this chinese tim sum restaurant.. it's so CHEAP and GOOD! Equivalent to our SG restaurant's standard.. we were too hungry and tired to take pictures.. keke.. and we were gorging our food down.. we wanna catch Survivor Micronesia Finale! We bought 6-piece-chicken(Initially only wanted to buy 3 pieces).. 3 original, 3 crispy! so greedy can.. but i tell ya, Survivor, KFC and Soft Drinks .. BEST Combi eva! haha~

gave our Ladies' Night a miss... too tired.. a very satisfying day...

Eileen and I were setting up our cameras while Iris showers.. and she came out with her towel still on her head! we started rather "mildly".. as in , our poses.. we were sitting on the bed.. i mean.. MY BED! so messy loh! then we started to get warmed-up.. instead of sitting down, we decided to stand and give a few poses.. we managed to ask Iris to get the towel off her head! haha~
then.. we started going crazy.. jumping in our shots..ya, me and my crazy idea.. so tiring can! and it's on MY BED! *argh* as you can see, Iris's enjoying herself thoroughly~
we were so tired after all the jumping, decided to tame down a little.. and took photos lying down on MY BED~
zonked.................... but still...... continued taking photos!

after settling down in our room.. we went to the beach! BUT.. the tide was low and we can't do much.. so the guy named "Boxy" suggested that we come back at about 2pm..

We went around to explore the resort..and also went ahead to book our SPA.. and.. we also made our cab bookings.. I tell you..next time if you all are in BATAM, please call EMI at +628127714837 . 随传随到！There was once when he couldn't make it, he got someone else to stand in for him.. very responsible... and reasonable price too! cheaper than calling a cab from hotel~

we have 2 more hours to 2pm.. decided to eat! hee~ went to the restaurant..and ordered 2 big sandwiches, pasta and laksa! it was sooooo good! delicious lunch! didn't expect the food to be so nice here..hee~ after lunch.. felt sleepy..erm, decided to take a short nap... and ya, we overslept! it's a very very very lazy trip i tell ya! we woke up at 330pm can! by the time we hit the beach, it was already 4pm.. and our Emi-cabby is picking us up at 545pm to Golden Prawn for dinner..

WE're SLEEPING WAY TOO MUCH.. wellie, supposed to be a relaxing holiday.. nice~!

So, we did kayaking.. for about 20mins..haha.. Eileen and I rowed first..then Iris took over me.. we kayaked within the lagoon.. while waiting for our Banana Boat to be ready. Pulled by a motor boat, we sat on the banana look-alike float..3 of us.. out into the sea.. so scary.. it was so fast.. we asked for "normal" speed at first..then decided to go "extreme".. and all of us got thrown off the banana.. we were wearing life jackets of course.. we all gulped down a mouthful of sea water! was damn fun and we were laughing and screaming away!

Got up the float and went on for the ride.. the sea was choppy.. and the motor boat went really fast.. very thrilling! finally, we were flung into the sea again..this time, nearer the shore.. then, we were told to swim back ourselves *argh* it was fun though.. and since we were all so "salty", decided to dip ourselves into the pool.. for 10 mins only.. coz Emi-cabby's coming.. and we need to wash up!

We were 5 mins late, but EMI waited and greeted us with a smiley face! The journey to Golden Prawn took us about 45mins.. well, we chatted throughout the whole journey! ya.. discussing about the living conditions in Batam.. and how fortunate we really are to be able to live in Singapore.. really~



Reached Golden Prawn at about 645pm. It's a very very big place.. enough to accomodate hundreds.. it's like a kelong..and we started to order food.. and we ordered ALOT! while waiting for food.... then our juices arrived.. Eileen and Iris ordered coconut..while i ordered green apple juice.. freshly squeezed! our TUB of rice came too.. compare the size of coconut to the red tub........
see! the size of the coconut is comparable to the rice tub! and.. there's alot of mozzies... *sobz* Eileen and I got bitten... blood type : A+ ......... still waiting for food to come........... we have free crackers too.. to munch on before food arrives.. we ordered chilli crab, baby kailan, lala, steam fish and butter prawns.. the chilli crabs's gravy's SOoOooO NICE! not too hot..just nice for Iris! and the steam fish's so fresh can! all so fresh! especially the fish! think Iris finished 3/4 of the fish by herself! haha~
a little too much for the 3 of us to finish.. but we managed to lick the plates clean! we drank a total of 2 coconut and 5 fruits juices! and..a plate of mangoes for dessert.. it's DAMN good~ awwww...
we ordered 2 glasses of juices to fill up Iris's water bottle..and brought it back to hotel.. EMI's waiting for us.. so.. we headed back to our hotel.. our journey back was a 'quiet' one.. we're so bloated and tired.. and all we did was eat and sleep.. and like only 1 hour out in the sun... haha~

washed up.. changed into our pyjamas..and we're all hyped up again! started to take photos in our PJ.. we'll leave that to.... Batam- Part 3!

sleepy look.. i woke up at 6am!! so early can! coz.. we gotta reach tanah merah ferry terminal at 745am (ferry leaving at 830am).. however, my alarm snoozed til 630am.. recieved sms from Iris and Eileen.. to "wake" me up..

Anyway, took this while waiting for cab.. 7am.. on my way to fetch Iris..

Reached her place about 720am.. Iris got into the cab... and she laughed at my fringe.. bleah~ on our way to pick Eileen up.. Our last Trio got up at about 735am..and we're clearly quite late!

The morning jam was quite bad.. we reached terminal about 810am.. quickly rushed to settle all admin and went to have a quick breakfast.. so HUNGRY loh! cab fare totalled up to : $36!!

Board the ferry at 830am..and we were the last few to get on sea flyte.. luckily there's still seats for three! we started to snap photos.. That's Eileen and Iris..

By the way, we've known each other for almost 14 years already! since primary school..and it's the first time we're going on a holiday together! we've a really good time reminiscing about the good old times..

Iris and I were partners! you know.. when you have to line up 2 by 2.. haha.. Eileen was right behind both of us~ AwwWwww~

Sea Flyte has yet to set off.. Iris trying to make fun of my fringe again! trying to show that her fringe's longer..much much longer than mine!

I forgot to bring sweets can! argh* later sure get motion sickness. Came to Batam with Iris last year 18th Dec.. we wanted to come back monthly! *sheesh* but we dun have the time.. now that we have an extra member added to our SPA clan! woah~

We're gonna facial too! and manicure.. pedicure.. etc~
