I'm Alive!

Yes yes! I'm here to blog...to show that i'm still alive! TOooOoO busy to blog! Anyway, here's a bean plant that I've been taking care of (Uncle actually!) since Chinese New Year! you know..those seeds with lucky numbers on them?
It's SOOoOO BIG! now! I like to see things grow! Shaun just bought some tortoise... i've been thinking of getting them too...but ah yee dun allow :( I'm seriously thinking of buying some more seeds to plant! hehe~

This is so funny, I gotta post it here..Sorry dear... hahaha~ was testing out some perfume... you know, they spray it on the strip of paper.. and Shaun's trying to balance it....wahahha... cute~

Here's quite a blur scene of my gaming night! 8 players! The whole row's ours! It was hell-lotta-fun with the 7 guys! we played from 730pm to about 11pm! wanted to play campaign, but ended playing versus the whole evening... way too fun to stop! This friday again man!
ok... that's about all for now! :)

Left 4 Dead

Had a WONDERFUL gaming session with the folks! WJ, QC & ZW! It's been quite some time since we had gaming session.. The last season of craze was DOTA... where QC, WJ and I DOTA-ed weekly for almost a year!

One crazy moment was in Christmas 2007.. where we brought all our laptops, put in on the mahjong table..plus 2 desktops at Veron's place.. Ta dah! Our very own Lan Gaming Place! Dota-ed from 10pm to 6am! non-stop! haha~
Another crazy moment was June 2008 at Downtown East Chalet! We were joking about it.. saying that our chalet unit's the most "expensive" units! With more than 8 laptops here... haha~ We were setting up the Lan Gaming Scene.... and we even took photos of "Team 1 VS Team 2" .. haha... absolutely insane!

I can foresee playing Left 4 Dead for the next few months to come! woah!!!!!

Super Star Virgo

yes yes... took this before we board it! on 6th May 330pm! WeeEeeE~ just a short get-a-way~

It's my 2nd time on board Star Virgo, 1st time for Shaun :) We're all so excited about it!

Went up to the 2nd level at Harbourfront Cruise Centre, waiting to board Star Virgo. While waiting, we took some photos of the model of the ship! So ReaL!

YESH! Balcony Class! Need not join the ever-lasting queue to clear the custom and check-in. Priority! Red-carpet some more! keke~ Welcome drink upon boarding the ship! wOooOHOooo!

After we had our drink, we went to check out the cabin right-away! On Deck 11, Room 602... we're gonna spend 2 nights here!

Ta Da~ So COOL right! imagine waking up in the morning, with the magnificent view of the vast ocean! Total Coolness!

That's Shaun, taking a picture of the bathroom. Nice.. and big! I get the toiletries and shelves on the right side, and his on the left side..

We took a really really long time to figure out how to open the sliding door to get onto the balcony.. finally after like half an hour, we were out there!

We got onto the ship at about 5pm, and left out cabin at about 6pm to explore the ship! We went up to Deck 12... the lounge... all tables have the Virgo sign... which happens to be Shaun's horoscope~

Captain Shaun and Captain Michelle reporting!

Mahjong Room! If only we have 2 other friends coming aboard with us, the we can 'jong all night! Peek-a-boo! I was told to hide behind the pillar while he took a photo of the whole mahjong room~

Jacuzzi! The water's warm! At least 35 to 40 degrees I would say.....

Sun-tanning beds! But not much sun now.. coz it's almost 7pm~

A view of Habourfront!

Auditorium!

Telephone..that really works!
Lobby~
Dinner time! The ship set sail at about 8pm.. while we were dining! Slowly, the scenery of Singapore diminished........
After dinner, we went Auditorium for a show... We were sitted at the Balcony area.. and we have $100 dining credits! yeah! only for Balcony Class :)
We bought 3 Bingo tickets for $12.50, trying out luck for the $18,000 cash prize. Apparently, nobody won $18k... but an ang moh did walk away with the consolation prize of $380! Shaun was just a number away loh! No. 28! Bish~ After Bingo, we went to take some pictures at the lobby.. and also shop at the duty-free shops.... Went to the "cinema" to watch Revolutionary Road.. but the seats were making my legs itch like anything..and the screen's so small.. and *yawn*......... we decided to try our luck at the Casino! Was teaching Shaun about Roulette..and I think it got him all interested! haha...we ended up at the Roulette table for almost 2 hours!
Slept at about 3am, and woke up at about 8am... It's really a WONDERFUL feeling to wake up seeing the ocean all over.. Not a building, person, birds etc in sight... it's just..... a piece of Blue nothing.. w.o.w~
Washed Up, and took a few pictures.... and with no time to waste, we started exploring the big ship again! We'll be arriving at Redang today~
Went to the swimming pool, and took a few pictures. Tonight, we're gonna have BBQ dinner here! by the pool side! After out dim sum breakfast, we went to the auditorium to gather... before we alight the ship to Redang Island. Above is a picture of the balcony seat which we were seating on last night :)
Yeah! We got off Star Virgo, and onto this small boat to get get us to Redang Island~
The weather's simply to HOT! We got outselves green apple juice and orange juice... sit by the bar counter.. along the beach..and just linger in the beachy atmosphere.
Went around and took photos on Redang Island. No No, we're not going into the sea.. because.. it's "infested" with I.D.R (In-Du-Ren).
BUT... we're going for Massage! One hour massge! yeah! While waiting, we played 2 games of pool... of course Shaun won lah :( The massage was good! Shaun's first time massaging too! hee~ I'm glad it was a good experience for him! heehee....
Left Redang Island at about 630pm.. Star Virgo will sail back to SG at about 8pm.. While on the small boat, we took photos or Star Virgo.. so majestic right!
We were happy that we board the ship safe and sound! Went for BBQ dinner by the pool side.. Great food! After dinner, we went back to cabin to rest, before going to the auditorium for a performance. Oh wells, the performer DID NOT turn up...argh..substitute by other performance.. well, not too bad though.. used our dining credit and ordered hot milo and coffee at the balcony seats..

Shaun decided to try his luck with Roulette again.. since it's the last night..heehee.. I was with him for awhile and ordered drinks with dining credit. I left him one hour later and went to rest in the cabin... brought some magazines to read.. just wanna relax........zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Had our breakfast at the terrace area. it's about 9am.. Arriving in SG in about 4 - 5 hours' time...Went to pay off our bills and collect our passports at the counter.... then went up to the lounge for our 2nd Bingo game! Ordered 2 drinks.. and there's our Bingo tickets! We didn't win lah :( This time, a Japanese lady won.. about $400... We still have about $30 in our card, went to Japanese restaurant to have our last meal before leaving the ship. Had seafood fried rice and black sesame ice cream! YuMz! Approximately 1 hour before arrival, we went to take some more pictures! Here, the Logo's HUGE!!!
I can smell Singapore already........ Sailing into our tiny island.... Getting nearer.... Getting ready to alight...... We'll be back!

IT's MARCH already.......

and my last post was in Dec....

cearly, I'm super busy lah.

I'm still going to complete my Japan Day 6 ok...

but, I'm going to post 'backwards'... starting from the events now, blogging back to Dec..haha~

Say Hello to my new Toy! *drumrolls*.................... SAMSUNG OMNIA! Been wanting to get it since it launched... was close to a $1000 then... Managed to bring it home at $729 at the IT fair.. Still trying to get use to this phone and its functions.....
Say Buhbye to Sony Ericsson W960i... been with me for about one year... served me well.. going to let it go at about $330 to $350... any takers?

Weekend at JB~

Went JB with Shaun today..to stock up my supply of contact lens. Went Northpoint first to correct the degree of his new pair of spectacles.. then lunch there. We drove to woodlands centre and park Lollie there.. sunday free parking! Walked over to the money changer and got our ringgit, then proceed to the checkpoint.

We cleared the checkpoint with a breeze on on a Sunday 2pm.. yeah! With the new Malaysia checkpoint, we managed to get to our destination much earlier than expected! Took at cab to City Square and got my lenses and Shaun's dad's birthday pressie. We decided to check out Jusco today! took a cab and got there at about 4plus.. and had our dinner at sushi king. Left Jusco at about 8plus..

my shoes! bought it at 50%! and after some difference in currency exchange rate, it's cost $13! and i bought 5 La Senza's panties..for only $20! woah!

Happy!

Japan-Day 5

Woke up very very early! We gotta catch the shinkansen at 1250pm.. very rush you know.. would love to stay at aunt's place for another day, but we have alot of places to cover... must make full use of our time!

Aunt prepared breakfast for us! so nice of her! We woke up in a cold cold winter morning, to find that we have breakfast on the table for us! *smilez* While waiting for our food, we took a video of aunt's cosy apartment!

Aunt's telling Shaun to remove the home slip-ons before entering the bedroom... last night, i forgot and Shaun nagged at me..this morning he forgot! haha~

With no time to waste, we packed our luggage and left aunt's place..

We didn't shower this morning as Aunt's gonna bring us for hot spring bath! WOoOhOo! I went last year and I LOVE IT! This is the outside of aunt's apartment..then we head over the aunt's home.. and the 2 dogs outside the yard.. wonder if they're cold...bRRrRr~ and this dog is in the house... it's name........ "H.A.P.P.Y"! ~~~

cannot bring camera into the hot bath area *duh* aunt dropped us off while she went to do her chores..and came back one hour later to pick us up.. the hot bath is so shiok lah! we ENJOYED it TOTALLY!
Mai (cousin) and aunt treated us to sushi! the prices are comparable to our Sakae sushi..but the freshness and taste is totally different.. better than SG of course! Every piece of sushi was just so finger-lickin'-good!
just like SG, we can order our food via the touchscreen monitor...however, no waitress/waiter to serve us.. instead, our orders arrived in a shinkansen! so cute!!! then the red light beside the monitor will light up and beep... once the plate's being removed, the shinkansen moved off!! CUTE-ness!

Look at our accomplishment! haha.. more to add!

wonder why is Shaun doing this pose? ..........Because......... it's snowing!!!!!!!!!

Look how excited he is!

Aunt rushed up to the station to take shinkansen back to Tokyo.. and on our way to the station, the snow fall got heavier! if only we can stay here for a few more days.. we could have build a snowman! We're FREEZING COLD while shooting this video. Even with gloves on, we can't feel our fingers and toes! hee~
Here's us... enjoying the last few moments playing with snow before boarding the shinkansen...
3 hours... and finally we arrived in Tokyo.. we made our way to Gotanda station, that's where our hotel was..and it's only about 4plus... seemed like night right?!
Once we checked into the hotel, we wasted no time at all! Went to our next destination.. TOKYO TOWER! We were still quite a distance away, when we saw Tokyo Tower.. so we took a few shots.. then we walked nearer and nearer towards it... till we're right infront of it! and now we're just RIGHT BELOW it! It's Tokyo Tower's 50th Anniversary, thus there is this number "50" on it!
we went for dinner at the food centre.. and went up to the observatory tower.. way up there! woah! took some photos up here...
a view of a hotel's landscape down below... The ever famous Odaiba rainbow bridge! where Fuji TV station's located at!

and isn't it interesting that the roads crossed each other and formed a shape of a star?! *smilez* all these landmarks are very very far away, I zoomed in all the way.. and capture these shots.. clear right? I took it with my...... 3.2 megapixels Sony Ericsson W960i! Is is good or is it good?! haha~
we can actually look down this transparent window right down to the ground level! you can walk across it too.. scary!

it's so cold outside... Shaun's warmed the window with his breath, and wrote on the vapour that formed on it... hee... nice ah!
We've came all the way up here... we MUST visit the toilet! So, we can tell everyone that we've done "business" up here!
We spent about 1 hours plus up on the tower.. the night's not over yet! On the ground level, there's a garden all lit up! We took photos to commemorate our presence here on Tokyo Tower's 50th Anniversary!

Went back to hotel.. and this time, we have our own private toilet! yeah! Was playing my PSP while waiting for Shaun to take his rather quick bath, and Shaun used the internet with his Lenovo while I had my hot bath in the tub.. for almost 45mins! haha.. so comfy lah!

We'll be shopping tomorrow! Harajuku, Ueno, Daiso, Akihabara ..................
