Japan -Day9- Osaka

took the earliest shinkansen Osaka..Ernest & I woke up at like 7am.. meet Bernard and Lynn at Kichijoji station at 8am.. but they were late for half an hour..they were lost! but luckily we planned to meet much much earlier..and we were JUST in time for shinkansen.. *phew*
Can't imagine myself holidaying with Bernard.. i know him for like.. almost 10 years.. we're always crapping with each other..but never thot that one day we'll be touring Japan togetherly! anyway, toast to our friendship!

thanks to my 7.1 mega pixels Olympus! i took Mount Fuji inside Shinkansen.. bullet train travels at such a high speed..and i am able to capture this bee-u-ti-ful-ly! dun intend to visit Mount Fuji this time.. coz i've been there last june.. i wanna spend more time on shopping! weEEeEe~
reached Osaka at about 12plus.. this is our room! mattress on tatami mat.. nice and cosy.. it's not at all cold.. coz there's warmer in the room! it's on the 9th floor!
i'm sleeping infront of the TV.. coz Ernest says he is scared that Sadako might just climb outta the TV..haha.. anyway, i prayed over the room.. so no worries! there were 3 lights, and we left one on at night..
right after unpacking, we went to lunch.. so hungry! we decided to eat MAC! Ernest had his Mega Tamago again..it's really very big.. 3 slices of meat.. 1 egg.. 3 slices of bread.. Bernard's mouth is wide enough to eat it with a bite..haha~
went to ask a passer-by what areas are there to shop in Osaka..and she directed us here.. there is a ride on the building itself! how very interesting.. Ernest wanna get on it.. but the rest dun want.. majority wins! can you imagine.. the ride zooms all the way down.. and it's so cold..i think my face will freeze!
went to shop here.. we went our seperate ways as the stuff we're looking for is different.. Bernard went with Lynn, and we planned to meet 2 hours later... So Ernest and I went off to... the CD shop! (similar to our HMV).
Sho Sakurai! haha.. this picture is beautifully taken! see Veron! i get to kiss my prince! haha..anyway, the taiwanese DVDs here are FREAKING expensive.. i think because it's translated into Japanese... Liu Xin Hua Yuan Taiwanese version.. Part 1 and Part 2 cost BLOODY $500 plus in total.. yes.. SINGAPORE DOLLARS!
there were many small alleys at this place.. with nice backdrops! forced Ernest to take photos.. dunno why..he dun like to take photos..
my new found favourite character! i see it all around Japan! finally saw a big big mascot of it.. haha.. so cute!
met up at 4pm.. and we took a group photo together.. ya.. within 2 hours, i bought 2 bags of stuff already..Bernard's carrying one bag for me..
while paying for one of my stuff, the shop attendant recommend us to go to 'American Village'.. Shinbashi.. well, they dun sell only American stuff only..but Japanese stuff too... so, while Ernest and Bernard are busy navigating, Lynn and I were cam-whoring..haha..
we left all navigation to the 2 guys for the whole trip.. Lynn and I just shop, sit and sleep whenever there is a chance.. shopping is hectic you know!
ok.. set off to American Village.. on our way there.. we decided to join in the queue to get Tako Pachi.. Osaka is famous for it's octopus balls..
there were 4 - 6 pple making it! and it smells very nice! it's Ernest new craving after his Ramen craving...haha~
so he bought 6! and he seemed very excited about it! i ate one...
Bernard took another one.. Ernest dun seemed very please with pple eating his food..haha..
Lynn took another one..haha..Ernest is sulking now.. so..he's left with 3 takos for himself! hee~
everyone stood by this river(canal) to eat tako... and.. it doesn't really taste that nice.. all 4 of us agreed...hmm..
police station! we are kinda lost..
so cold.. lost.. lonely.. hungry.. thirsty.. help!!
Ernest searching for dustbin! dustbins are so scarce in Japan.. Ernest kept trash in his pocket for 2 days.. before finding a dustbin to throw it into! haha..
walking walking walking... walking our way to American Village...
this very big Pocky cost $20 dollars.. there's only 1 big stick inside.. it looks more like cake to me than a biscuit!
still finding our way there...
finally... reached! well.. nothing great leh.. seriously... it's like another street.. bugis i would say..didn't buy anything here...lynn bought a jacket though.. decided to leave the place and go for dinner..
Lynn & I with our shopping damages *ouch* decided to have cheap dinner tonight.. after spending so much on shopping...
went to supermarket to get sushi... bento... cup noodles.. etc.... and the name of this supermarket is called Ta Ma De! haha...
decided to sleep in early tonight too.. as we're going to Universal Studio Tmr! it's gonna be a whole day event!
