rush rush rush.. predicted the time wrongly.. was rushing all the way and running with heavy bags.. our Shinkasen is arriving at 7:56am.. and when we reached Tokyo station, it's already 7:51am.. means we have 5 mins to run to transfer train.. anyway, we manage to board the train JUST IN TIME! *phew* once we got up the train, 1 mins later, the train moved.. close shave!
it's a 3 hours journey.. and we slept all the way thru.. slept late last night :( too sleepy to take photos of the beautiful scenery outside.. moutains and lakes.. covered with snow... all so white so icey... so nice.. for our eyes only.. *gee*
auntie was there to welcome us the minute we got off the train! so happy to see her! actually we just met in June..now we meet again! took this photo while walking to her car.. it's now snowing now.. sobz.. these are leftover snow from last nights'...they're melting.. making the roads so slippery! finally have the feel of walking on ice..
this is aunt's brand new car bought last month.. she just sold off her big car for this small one..as all my cousins have their own cars..her car plate is 60-07 (for anyone who wanna buy 4D) :)
journey to aunt's house is about 20mins.. can't find the door number.. anyway, nice exterior! and it's interior is all wood.. so warm and cosy! never take picture of garden.. coz all plants died and all covered with snow.. 2 doggies outside.. aunt say they bite.. so did not go near them..
First person i see when i entered the house.. MAI!!! so pretty! one year older than me.. i can recognise her right away~ the last time we played together was..when i'm 6years old i think.. aunt wanted me to delete this photo.. coz the background's all clothes and garments! no choice.. winter time.. all clothes gotta be indoor!
while we are clearing up our sleeping area for the night, aunt is preparing our lunch..
see! so many plates and bowls! all of us sat around the table.. and there's another dog in the house.. named "Happy".. er.. but it's very naughty! argh..
my lunch! very very delicious! nicer than all the Jap restaurants in Singapore.. and all dishes are served in small portions in seperate bowls! after meal, there were 30 over bowls in the sink!
Aunt brought us to visit the shrine near her place..only Ernest and I.. because Toru gotta attend a friend's wedding and he's damn handsome! Aunt say his pants.. shirt..coat..shoes..everything cost $700! *vain* this shrine is the goddess's shrine.. couples can't come here to pray as the goddess will get jealous and break them up.. hmm...
fortune reading.. so cute.. one for 300yen.. got one for myself.. souvenier.. dun understand what's written in it anyway..
the shrine is situated at the top of a small hill.. and this photo is taken from the top! Hachinohe is like a village.. where it's specialty is seafood and apples! this is the sea....
and the shore covered with snow! so beautiful!
Ernest.. bought somemore souveniers here.. haha.. he bought alot of things!

snow! aunt brought us for hot bath! ernest dun wanna go... coz he shy,so i went with aunt.. and there's no private room..it's all public! so we all have to take off everything! *faint* of course, no cameras allowed! went supermarket right after to shop for dinner stuff tonight.. we had jap curry! aunt is such a good cook!
went to Aunt's working place at about 7pm.. Mai drove us here..aunt bought me alot alot of clothes and a pair of boots! i'm really not used to wearing furry stuff.. but i love the boots alot!

aunt said the lady boss like unique stuff...and the bar's decorated with exquisite stuff.. like this 4.. and she also gave me a box of 5 chopsticks holders..she got it from Kyoto and it cost alot! but i really admire their hospitality.. simply made us feel so welcomed!
my dishes..these are snacks.. and i had a bottle of sake.. japanese drink alot! i drink almost everyday in Japan.. especially in winter.. japanese drink alot to keep themselves warm..the lady boss made tea for us too.. reminds me of the "Liu Xing Hua Yuan".. Xi Men's family runs traditional tea ceremony.. and we all had one big bowl of tea.. not one big cup.. one big BOWL!
Nice and classy bar! it's about 8pm..night is still young.. no one's here yet..
3 of us.. after our food, we decided to sing some songs... Aunt start the ball rolling...She sang "First Love".. took a video of her singing! She said everyone must sing.. oh man.. Ernest sang a chinese song, I sang an English song..
Mai's turn! She has a very sweet voice.. but she's having a sorethroat..so.. ya, that's why she didn't come with us to the hot bath today..she's so pretty!
The lady boss sang too! I asked if she could sing for us, and she's indeed very sporting... she sang! and her voice is very very powerful!
They will be coming to Singapore for a tour this year..aunt & Toru will be coming too.. aunt needs to settle Toru's schooling stuff.. We took a group photo and left the bar soon after.. about 9pm.. coz i wanna catch Nodame.. and when we reached home, we realised that it's 3rd today, not 4th! *argh* silly.. so we just lingered around the TV room til Yui-chan called us to her room.. where Ernest & I warm ourselves under the table.. cosy.. there we chatted for like an hour.. she showed us her junior sch, junior-high sch, high sch photos..
then Toru came home.. and we continued to chat for like 2 more hours.. then we decided to leave Yui to study for her exams.. she's the most intelligent girl around.. wanted to study medicine.. but changed her mind.. she wants to be a professor! woah.. she's going to Hokkaido University next year :) We jokingly told Toru that we'll bring Yui home.. and give Tifanny to him.. yeah! noisy Fanny can go! and... Yui plays the piano very very well too! she 18 this year..zZZzzzzZzZZzzzZz~
